The journal exists to examine how legal frameworks and governance structures can be used to pursue global justice: ensuring that fundamental rights, fairness and accountability hold up across jurisdictions rather than stopping at a border.
It publishes work on human rights, international criminal law and economic governance, alongside scholarship on the institutions that carry international law in practice. Submissions are peer-reviewed and the journal is published twice a year.
